Merle's Southern Market is Matt Bobbitt, the Texas A&M University grad and College Station resident who helped pave the path for the catering industry in the Brazos Valley area nearly 2 decades ago.  As Global Event Group launches into their 15th year of Catering and Event Production in 2018, it felt like the right time to add to the family with a new brand, rooted in family history - Merle's Southern Market.

While Global is glitz and glamour - with clients ranging from US Presidents to A list celebrities, Merle's is tradition and comfort - and all the stories that go along with the food.
